Kupe presents the most recent results from Te Hiringa Hauora surveys to monitor health and wellbeing behaviours and attitudes of New Zealanders.
Kupe aims to answer the following questions for each reported indicator:
Kupe was developed by EPI-interactive and Te Hiringa Hauora for the first launch in 2018. Since then, Te Hiringa Hauora added more data from different surveys into the tool and continue to improve the tool in-house to ensure it is still relevant and fit for purpose.
We appreciate precedents shared from the Annual Data Explorer, which was co-developed by EPI-interactive and the Health and Disability Intelligence Unit at the Ministry of Health.
Data used in Kupe would not have been available without the support and enthusiasm of many individuals, including the people who gave their valuable time to participate in the surveys and the interviewers collecting the data.
